“While the perfect and beautiful physical person of the Holy Prophet ﷺ is without doubt in Madinah, his Nur is hâdir wa nâzir, present and witnessing, at all places at all times – omnipresent everywhere. This Nur is referred to as energy in science. The entire creation is like the movie screen in a cinema, everything we behold in its complete entirety with all its sounds and abilities is simply not actually real but is only the carefully scripted projection from a single source of light, the movie projector, onto the screen (of space and time)” – Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin

“Al-Qadi ‘Iyad cited from ‘Amr ibn Dinar al-Athram (d. 126) the explanation of the verse 24:61 “when you enter houses salute one another”: “If there is no-one in the house then say: ‘as-salâmu ‘alâ al-Nabiyyi wa rahmatullâhi wa barakâtuh.’ Al-Qari said in his commentary on al-Shifa’: “Meaning, because his (the Holy Prophet’s) soul, sall-Allahu `alayhi wa sallam, is present in the house of the Muslims (ay li’anna rûhahu ‘alayhi al-salâmu hâdirun fî buyûti al-muslimîn).[Al-Qadi ‘Iyad in al-Shifa: “Concerning the places where it is desirable to invoke blessings and peace upon him”]

“It is without a doubt that the Almighty has given His Noble Beloved (Allah bless him and grant him peace) the complete knowledge of everything from the first till the last. From the east to the west, from the Throne till the earth, everything was shown to him. He was made witness to the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. From the very first day till the last day all of the knowledge of what was and what shall be (ma kana wa ma yakun) has been shown to him. From all of the above, not even an iota is outside the knowledge of the Prophet. Great knowledge has been encompassed by the Noble Beloved (Allah bless him and grant him peace). It is not just of a summary type but what is small and big, every leaf that falls and every grain in the darkness of the earth are in their entirety known to him individually and in detail. Much praise to Allah. In fact, that which has been discussed is not, never, the complete knowledge of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace and send peace on his family and companions, all of them); but this is a small part of the Prophet’s knowledge … [Ahmad Rida Khan, Anba al-Mustafa, p.486].Through the above article, we can recommend you the latest dresses.Shop dress in a variety of lengths, colors and styles for every occasion from your favorite brands.

“Our Master, the Prophet (may Allah bless him and give him peace), is the absolute representative, deputy of Allah Most High. Hence, he has been given control (tassaruf) over the entire universe. He may do as he desires, give to whomsoever he wishes, take from anyone whatever he desires. None in the universe can deny his rulings. The entire universe is under his governance and he is under the authority of none except Allah. He is the owner (malik) of all humans. Anyone who does not accept him to be his owner (malik) remains devoid of the sweetness of the Sunnah. All the earth is his property. Paradise is his estate. The angels of earth and the sky are under his authority. The keys to paradise and hell have been given to him in his noble hand. Sustenance, goodness and other types of blessings are distributed from his noble office. This world and the hereafter is a portion of his blessings. The rulings of Shari‘ah have been delegated to his authority. He may make impermissible (haram) for anyone whatever he decides. Similarly, he may make permissible (halal) whatever he wishes and exempt whatever obligation (fard) he desires.” [Amjad ‘Ali A’zimi, the deputy (khalifah) of Ahmad Rida Rida Khan Barelwi, Bahar-i-Shari‘ah (p.1: 30-31)]

“…The inner reality (haqiqah) of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) was not human (bashari), rather his haqiqah was nuri …It becomes evident from the hadiths that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) possessed a superior nur to even that of the moon. This superior nur split the inferior nur of the moon [Shaq al-Qamar (splitting of the moon)]…This power of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) is contradictory [at odds] to haqiqah bashariyyah and thus proves that the inner haqiqah of the Messenger was not bashari but it was pure nur…Allah Most High described in this verse the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) as pure nur, which proves that he is in his inward reality a nur and only has manifest human attributes.” [Miqyas Nur p. 24,73,90]

Hilye-i Şerîf: The Physical Description of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

Haram al-Sharif – the Grand Mosque of Mecca, KSA. 17:1 Glory to He Who took His servant for a journey by night from the most sacred mosque to the farthest mosque, whose precincts We blessed, in order that We might show him some of Our signs: for He is the One Who hears and sees [all things].

Hadrat ‘Ali’s narration states: “In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate”

“From Hadrat ‘Ali (r.a.) when he used to describe the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta’ala ‘alayhi wa Sallam) he said: “He was not excessively tall nor overly short, but was of medium stature among the people. His hair was neither short nor curly nor long and thin. He was a strong man, but not stout or fat. His face was entirely white and round, and he had intensely black eyes and long eyelashes. He was big in the shoulders and back. He was not hairy except on his forward as though he were walking downhill, and when he turned his whole body turned. Between his shoulder blades was the seal of prophecy, for he is the Seal of the Prophets”.

The middle section states: “And surely you are indeed of a magnificent character” (Holy Qur’an 68:4)

The lower text translation (continuing from above ) states: “He was the most generous of men in his heart, the most truthful of them in speech, the mildest of them in temper, and the noblest of them in anyone who saw him, immediately felt in awe, and anyone who partook of his knowledge loved him. The one who described him says he has never seen anyone like him, either before or after him. May God bless him and grant him peace.”

“Allahu Ta’ala bless and grant peace to Muhammad, Your servant, Your Prophet and Your Messenger, the Gentile Prophet, and to his family and companions, and grant them peace.”

“The Prophet ﷺ once asked Gabriel, “O Gabriel! How old are you?”Gabriel replied,“O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I don’t know how old I am, but I do know that in the Fourth Covering, I saw a Star shine once every 70,000 years, and I saw this 72,000 times.” The Prophet ﷺ then said, “By the honor of Allah! I Am that Star” (i.e. Gabriel is 5,040,000,000 years old).” [Tafsir Ruh al-Bayan, Vol. 1, Page 974]

“In Islam, every Prophet came to praise Sayyidina Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ and connect their tribes to Him and His lofty Name. Even Sayyidina Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ Himself was sent to praise Himself, and His praise is what belief in Allah consists of. After the era of the Seal of Prophets ﷺ the era of Wiliyah began. Every Wali came to praise ‘Ali b. Abi Talib, and connect people to him. Why ‘Ali? Because the Seal of Prophets ﷺ declared “Ali and I are from One Light.” There is no other task for the Awliya period. Anyone who is dressed with the dress of Wiliyah can confirm this. That is all their mission is, nothing else but to praise ‘Ali. The one who recognized himself recognized his Lord. To recognize oneself is to come out of self-ignorance into self-knowledge. All knowledge is recorded, written with the Qalm, on the Lawh al-Mahfudh, The Preserved Tablet. The Lawh contains knowledge of all permutations of all reactions to all things that happened, and will happen, and all moments in time and all beings in space and in creation, in short, everything is recorded on it; it is the mirror of Divine Knowledge, but not all knowledge of the Divine in Itself, since there is no possible description or comprehension of all Divine Knowledge in Itself. The Lawh is the book of the recorded permutations of all choices and reactions and thereby destiny. It is the Program of the Universe. An example of the Preserved Tablet in man is memory. Dhikr is remembrance, or the extraction of knowledge from memory. Memory contains the events that we experience, the places that we see, people that we know, all ideas, thoughts, feelings, actions, reactions, voices that we hear, tastes that we taste, all impressions that we receive all our life long, all knowledge that we learn, and yet its capacity for storage is never full. There are three letters in the word Ilm, knowledge. ‘Ayn, Laam, Meem. The Seal of Prophets ﷺ declared He was the City of Knowledge and ‘Ali b. Abi Talib its only Gate. The ‘Ayn in Ilm stands for ‘Ali, who is its Gate. The Meem is its end, its final limit, and it is Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ. The Laam between the ‘Ayn and Meem is the Lawh al-Mahfudh; the Preserved Tablet of all recorded knowledge.” – Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin

“The Prophet, sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam, possesses knowledge of all that is and knows the created universes in the same way that one knows a room in which one sits. Nothing is hidden from him. There are two verses of the Holy Qur’an that affirm this, But how (will it be with them) when we bring of every people a witness, and We bring you (O Muhammad) a witness against these and Thus We have appointed you a middle nation, that you may be witnesses against mankind and that the messenger may be a witness against you nor can the Prophet, sall-Allahualayhi wa sallam, be called to witness over what he does not know nor see.” – Dr. GF Haddad

“Finally, in the metaphysic of the Sufis, or at least those whom I have met, the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) is both the ‘Light of Allah’ and ‘a human being’, and the inability to join between the two aspects is a lack of understanding of the greatness of al-Haqiqa al-Muhammadiyya, the ‘Muhammadan Reality’.” – Shaykh Nuh Ha Meem Keller

Traditions describing the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ Fashion Sense, Physical Beauty and Attributes – salutations and blessings be upon him
By Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin

Hirka i-Serif – Another Cloak of the Messenger of Allah salutations and peace be upon him, Topkapi Palace, Istanbul, Turkey

The Prophet of Arabia Muhammad the son of Abdullah forever changed our world. From mandating literacy in Arabia, to being the first Prophet from the House of Abraham to permit daughters to succeed in inheritance their fathers, to being the cause and catalyst to what is known as the golden era of human civilization. The subsequent impact of his laws, ideas and very advent in history extends to the every day lives of all humanity, including in the fields of mathematics, science, technology, robotics, and even aviation.

While most writers and even journalists now seem to be focused upon him as one of the world’s greatest legislators, most influential persons and even best military strategists in history, to be able to see him as also an individual with feelings, and desire, albeit divine, learning about his fashion sense and his physical attributes could be of immense help to those who seek more imaginal proximity to his ever present illuminated spirit. After all, for Muslims, Muhammad is, in the present tense, the Messenger of God, and will remain so since his advent.

According to most reports, the Prophet Muhammad had shoulder length wavy black hair from his youth. He is reported to have at least once wore a ring with the face of a lion engraved on it. In Mina, he was seen wearing crimson red mantle as reported by Abi Dawud. He also wore a dark red coat with red and black stripes, and is reported to have also worn one with red and green stripes.

He had a perfect smile and pearl white perfectly straight teeth. When he smiled, his upper teeth showed. His masculinity and appeal to women made him the most sought after man in Arabian history. He was married to the most beautiful women in Arabia who were also its wealthiest and most influential.

According to Tirmidhi, he had perfectly blemish free radiant white skin, jet black wavy hair down to his shoulders, he was broad-shouldered, with a flat stomach, and was neither short nor exceedingly tall.

He dressed in all fabrics except exclusively silk. At times, he wore a cummerbund or waist sash, at other times he wore a fur coat edged with fine brocade according to Ahmad and Abi Dawud. He wore dark leather sandals, had a variety of rings, and at times he wore a Persian cloak which had pockets lined with silk brocade and its sleeves were edged with silk brocade according to Muslim. He also wore two green stripped garments referred to as the Burdah. He was also seen wearing a beautiful black mantle. At other times, he was seen wearing a felted red mantle, and even a mantle made of fur. He wore black fur, and also possessed a black stripped fur coat. He also wore clothing imported to Mecca from greater Syria and Egypt, including fabric woven from linen.

The Prophet Muhammad was always surrounded by the best fragrances. He wore the finest and most expensive perfumes available in Arabia. When listing some of his documented physical attributes, it was reported he was the most charming and charismatic man in Arabia. He was documented as perfectly built, muscular, not bulky, with clear white skin, jet black long hair, dark wide eyes, perfect white teeth and a pearl white smile.

It is also documented he had the most beautiful voice in Arabia, to the extent that when he spoke, people believed it to be God speaking to them, through his mediumship, due to the sheer beauty which resonated from his sound, and had the most beautiful hands.

Trying to imagine his charisma and beauty helps Muslims better understand him better and subsequently respect him and love him more. That is a description of some of the physical traits and esthetics of the Prophet Muhammad, the Messenger of God salutations and blessings be upon him and his House.

The Muhammadanﷺ Reality: Nine Levels of Muhammadﷺ by Qutb Muhammad Raheem Bawa Muhaiyaddeen

God forever geometrizes. Stained glass windows at the Haram al-Sharif Masjid an-Nabawi, KSA

The Unmanifested Muhammad: The name Allah gives to the Nur. The Unmanifested is the beginningless beginning, the time of profound silence, when nothing had been manifested and Allah existed as Himself, with the Nur, as yet unmanifested, within Him.

The Manifested Muhammad: The primal beginning, when the essence [dhat] of Allah emerged from Him. When His essence attained His beauty and came forth from Him, Allah caused it to appear as a light. The light He caused to appear was as His own Praise [Muham], and He gave it the name Muhammad. This is the Manifested Muhammad.

Awwal Muhammad: The Beginning. Awwal is the beginning, the emergence of creation. At this time Allah gave to the light of the Nur the name Awwal Muhammad.

Hayat Muhammad: The Eternal. The ruh [soul, or life] which exists forever; the truth which never dies.

Anna Muhammad: The Nourishment. Anna Muhammad comes as food and nourishment to each life. It is the beauty that is Allah’s grace, the nourishment of His grace. For hayat, or eternal life, Anna Muhammad comes to the heart and the face as the nourishment which is Allah’s beauty. The sole nourishment for the soul of man, or hayat, is the beauty of Allah, which comes from His light in the form of atoms of His grace. Anna Muhammad comes as the nourishment related to earth, fire, water, air, and ether.

Qalb Muhammad: The Heart. The light of the beauty of Allah’s essence [dhat], which is the inner heart, called Qalb.

Nur Muhammad: The Plenitude. The light which became complete within Allah and then emerged from within Him. The beauty and the light of Allah’s three thousand gracious qualities; the light of His benevolent qualities of patience; the radiance of Allah’s essence, of dhat, which shines within the resplendence of His truth. It was the light of Muhammad called Nur Muhammad that was impressed upon the forehead of Adam [alaihi salam]. Of the nine aspects of Muhammad, Nur Muhammad is the aspect of wisdom.

Allah Muhammad: The light of Allah within Muhammad and the light of Muhammad within Allah. The name that Allah gives to Muhammad when the limitless resplendent Nur once again sees the Perfection, Allah, from which it originally emerged. Having come forth from that Perfection, and manifested all of creation, that light once again lost itself in that orginal source. What is called Muhammad is a vessel through which Allah can be recognized and from within which He speaks. Of the nine aspects of Muhammad, Allah Muhammad is the hightest.

Muhammad: Muhammad is completely merged in Allah, existing only as a vehicle for the manifestation of His essence and attributes. Only the pretext of Muhammad’s [sallallahu alaihi wa sallam] form is there, because Allah is formless, the form of Muhammad [sallallahu alaihi wa sallam] appears to exist so that the perfect beauty and grace of the Invisible and Indescribable can be recognized.
