Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Qubrusi’s opinion regarding Hadrat Abu Talib (alaihi salam), the father of Sayyidina ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib:
“Abu Talib, huwa Sayyid kaman (Abu Talib) is a chief, a master. He is Sayyid. And all awliya were witnesses when he said, “Laa ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammadun (s). You are RasoolAllah, heavenly one over all prophets. You are Habeebullah, Rasoolullah, Noor `Arshillah.” And he breathed his last. There are so many discussions among `ulamas, and we are not listening. There is so much qeel wa qaal, “This one said this and this one said that.” We are not making qeel wa qaal discussions. We have been granted something else for Abu Talib, for his imaan, his last breathing and finished.” [https://docs.google.com/View?id=d2d39f6_34fnp36vfv]
