Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin said, “In the year 2002, I went with Omar Kone, and Mateen Siddiqi to Shaykh Hisham’s house for a personal matter. When we arrived, Mateen, and Omar took me into the living room to see him, and Nurjan was present there. Shaykh Hisham was going to guide me regarding a personal matter, after he made Istikharah the night before. In presence of all three of these murids, Shaykh Hisham told me, “you are a Sayyid from both sides, they have brought you here to prepare you…I see when you will grow your beard, and wear a turban, hundreds of thousands of people will accept Sufism because of you…”
