Bismillair Rahmanir Rahim. As salamu alaikum! Ey Yaaran Shah-e Mardan. Madad Ya Rijal Allah. Dastur. Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. Marhaba Ya Sahib ul-Maydan…

Know, all unhappiness comes when we are cut from light. In Islam, there are three stages of realization of inner light. Sainthood, Prophethood, Lordship. Imam ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib, ‘Aliyun Waliyu Allah, as the Friend of Allah, is in charge of Sainthood, and as such, is responsible for granting Wiliyats, making us enter into the Muhammadan (sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam) presence, to Prophetic, Muhammadan lights. The hadith says, “I, and Ali are from one light”. After ‘Ali, each of the Twelve Imams were assigned this task, to keep the religion steadfast. They trained, gave ijazahs, to the greats, like al-Basri, al-Bistami, al-Karkhi, al-Misri, etc., in these methods of inner illumination, who transmitted and authorized the Poles of Sufism, beginning with al-Jilani. From al-Jilani, all transmitted methods were turned into schools, tariqats, and through tariqats, they reached our generation, for us, now, from Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Qubrusi.

Next, the Holy Prophet (s) guides creation to and from, his own immense light, Nur i-Muhammad (s), to direct Divine Presence, Nur, the Indescribable All Creative Nur. The Holy Quran states: “Allah is the Nur of the heavens and earth”.

The Murshid leads you to ‘Ali, by training you, helping you overcome the dictatorship of the Ammara Nafs, taking you through the three stages, Alif Laam Meem; Ammara, Lawwama, to Mutmaina. From there you start reconnecting to light, because of the Murshid, by his suhbah, and prescribed methods, remembering your origin was in light, and your destination should be light.

As a believer, you are helping yourself out of darkness, to inner happiness, to light. Light is all we need to be happy here and hereafter. It gives us the six powers Mawlana Shaykh Nazim talked about, the first of which is the ‘Power of Attraction’, jazb. Heaven is literal, but not physical, it is light. In heaven, we will be in total light, hence, we will get what we want, when we want it, at will. In the Haramayn, both Mecca and Madina, again, we are swimming in light, so our prayers, wishes, are granted there.

Light. Be Nurani. To live happy, be in light, around light. The shrines of Saints are also full of lights. Whoever becomes enlightened, through the passing of these stages, Alif, Laam, Meem, attains real happiness. Whoever refuses to become illuminated, stays unhappy. Recitation of Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim and Salawat produces, ignites the light within. Be Nurani. The Prophet (S), prayed, “O Allah, make me light”, and this is granted to him (S), Shah Mardan guides to this illumination, as the ‘Babuha‘, Gate to the city of illumination. The perfected Shaykh, like the Qutb ul-Ghawth al-Sayyid Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani, guides you to the doorstep, threshold, of Shah Mardan and his illuminated progeny who lead you to your ultimate transmutation into light. Be light, be Nurani, and with people and places of Nuraniyyat. Wa min Allahi tawfiq. Fatiha. O Allah, grant our Shaykh more light, and health. Reward him and his family for his teaching us what we did not previously know. Keep us all under the shadow, with impeccable manners, of Your Intimate Friends, Ameen. Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.
